Apples on a toast
This toast with caramalised Apples is super easy to make and it makes a great weekend breakfast and it's yummy too. Sometimes I take about 3 apples and 2 pears but its entirely your choice.Ingredients: for 4 people
- 4 Apples, washed and sliced with peels on them (the healthier way)
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp of cinammon powder
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger.
Method:
- Heat a non stick pan and melt the butter in it.
- Add the apples and all the other ingredients and cook them on a medium high heat, until you see the sugar in forming into caramel.
- While this is cooking, start preaparing the toasts, 2 for each person , so 8 toasts alltogether.
- Top the toasts with apples and garnish with a mint leaf if you have some. Enjoy.
- Keep one extra toast to clean the caramel and the sauce left in the pan, M loves to do that.
