Ethiopian cooking event

Lula was kind to show us cooking from her country "Ethopia" and it was pretty special. To be honest it reminded me of my own "Indian cooking". So many things were similar in both the cuisines from lentils to the way of cooking to spices and the way you eat "with hands". Maya was a perfect host and we had so much fun cooking and we ate a lot. Here is a glimpse:

Lula showing us the Ethopian bread"Ingera

After making the breads you spread them on a cloth

It reminded me of Indian Dosa, but it was cooked without any fat,
This was the stack of "Ingera" enough to feed a town, and we finished it :) well!!! Almost!

Lots and lots of onions

Some more veggies

and some more

loads of garlic with oil and maya knows how she did it :)

First onions, then Beans

and then come carrots, this was cooked in layers
